一般描述

脫鐵轉鐵蛋白（aTF）可以補充鐵或用于結合培養基中存在的游離鐵，它還可用于將鐵運輸到哺乳動(dòng)物細胞中。

應用

脫鐵轉鐵蛋白已作為補充劑：

  • 用于杜氏改良Eagle培養基/HamF12（DMEM/F-12），以培養人腎上腺皮質(zhì)癌細胞[1]

  • 在DMEM/F-12中培養小鼠神經(jīng)前體細胞[2]

  • 收集NCSU23培養基培養豬卵巢腔前卵泡[3]

生化/生理作用

脫鐵轉鐵蛋白（aTF）是一種內源性鐵螯合劑，通過(guò)清除游離鐵和防止有毒活性氧（ROS）的形成對宿主起到保護作用。它對地中海貧血有治療作用。[4]鐵釋放后，受體結合的脫鐵轉鐵蛋白到達細胞表面，而不是被運輸到溶酶體降解。細胞表面具有中性的pH值，促進(jìn)脫鐵轉鐵蛋白從受體釋放，在此處再次循環(huán)并結合額外的鐵，以進(jìn)一步將鐵傳遞到細胞。
